by doug boudreaux
(lafayette,louisiana.)

..holly beach south ,louisiana. 6-hours-4 rings and 135 coins later im still buzzing the beach sand and hoping it dont rain soon. then the big ping-BUZZ!what is it / a lockette of gold for some pretty woman i assumed..nice and gold!!the first 25 feet of surf is what i usually hunt after 5a.m.-the rings are common-but the diamond ring i was about to find?Did not expect to find this nice of a ring in months!!The ring was 10 inches in the wet part of the beach-must have slipped off mommas hand when they were surf-flopping-but ,just the same the diamonds were a six cluster and lost of luster!!!i soon became the spectacle of the noon beach crowd and all the snotty little varmit kids had to help me dig up the treasure..a couple from texas had little johhny and sister ammie help me find the next several coins...after an hour or so..there were 150-200 more people on the beach,,,well good!!now i can return to the "Beach bank' tommorow and start agin!!lots of trash but man what a day!!!my dog radar was having fun with the children sticking his noise in the sand and who knows ..maybe he will find his bone..but i found at least 1500 worth of finds in 6 hours of beach retrival and search..so be on them beaches boys and get there early..cause the beach has your booty!!!Chow...Douglas boudreaux-lafayette,louisiana.
